It consists of a 30 x 10mm (1ml) plastic tube fitted with a
plastic screw cap. Clear plastic tubing is used for both the

This aspitator has been used in Antarctica to collect springtails
and mites. Since the transfer of animals among sites is of concern
to many researchers, this disposable aspirator is a means of
reducing this problem.
Each aspirator is also supplied with a spare tube. This tube
is ideal for those who wish to store the specimens in liquid
nitrogen. Sold in packs of 10 or 20.
