E49N Telescoping Insect Net
This is a very useful compact telescoping insect net to supplement our existing range.

The alloy handle consists of 3 parts which extends from 43cm out to approximately 100cm.

By removing 1 screw, the hoop can be easily dismantled from the handle, and then folds down into 4 sections.

One E 49N Telescoping aerial insect collecting net consists of:

380mm (15 inch) diameter folding (4 sections) steel hoop
380mm white bag

Bag depth of approximately 750mm
Made from polymer, mesh size is approximately 1.8mm round

Extendable alloy handle

collapsed length 43cm (~17 inches)
extended length approx. 100cm (~39 inches)

Please note that the net bag included with this product will not fit different hoops from our other ranges of hoop products. ie. the net bag is specifically designed for this product only.

Furthermore, this very useful supplementary net is not as robust as our standard range of nets so one must take care whilst assembling and using the net.

When assembling the handle to the hoop, insert the washer between the hoop and the handle. Tighten the screw fully, but do not over tighten it as it could weaken the octagon shaped plastic cover plate.

Regret that the net will not fit into express post satchels.

How to Fold the Spring Net Hoop Ring
- The steel spring net ring can be folded by twisting the top of the ring and the knob in opposite directions.
- As you twist, the ring starts to collapse into a three dimensional U.
- By forcing the top two edges of the U to overlap collapses the ring into three sections.
- The folded ring can be locked into position by wrapping the bag around the ring.
WARNING: The spring ring has very high elastic force. Please be careful when opening it. Please also refer page 10 of the printed catalogue (Travellers Insect net).
