Traps - Emergence Tent

Used for collecting at home base insects emerging from material (decayed wood, rotting vegetation, stocks of animal dung etc.) collected from far away in the field. Essentially the top part of a malaise trap (i,e. without the vertical walls) over a sheet impervious to insects emerging from the soil beneath. It provides a contained, sealed habitat/environment. It is opened by a velcro strip full length on one side. Provided with 5 plastic tent pegs and 1 guy cord. Support post not supplied.
