Spring door type rodent/possum traps.

Spring loaded door applied when foot platform is activated. Spring is stainless steel. Bait tray provided at rear of trap.

For possums, use fruit. A piece of banana unskinned works well, but possums will eat most fruits.

For rodents, a piece of cloth saturated with peanut butter or most types of meat.

It is recommended that you place a cover over the back of the trap as animals are likely to attempt to get at the bait from the back of the trap and set it off without entering. An old blanket, hessian bag or piece of carpet is ideal. Only cover up the the spring hook, the cover must not be over the spring or latch bar.

Different states have various rules regarding possums and in some states it is illegal to relocate a possum more than 25 meters. Please consult with your local authority for wild life laws in your area.
