Fluon AD-1
Most insects cannot crawl up surfaces coated with Fluon AD1 as it is a very slippery film. It is used by universities, pest control operators and bee keepers to prevent insects from entering or leaving various areas or containers.

It may be applied either by brushing, spraying or dipping. After application, it may be dried at room temperature.

Please ensure it has to be thoroughly mixed before use to over come the density difference between the carrier and the active materials.

Do not let Fluon AD-1 freeze.

Fluon AD-1 has been used on glass and smooth polyethylene and has been effective against a large variety of insects. The surface it is to be applied to must be perfectly smooth, like glass.
Fluon AD-1 is usually diluted 1:1 to 1:10 with water and applied with a paint brush. A very thin layer of the product is adequate. One quart/946ml diluted with water would be sufficient to treat 370 sq. ft/112m.

The length of time Fluon AD-1 will be effective does depend on the amount of abrasion.
