Microscopes/Accessories - Nematode counting dishes

These counting dishes can be used for counting nematodes in water suspension, for example.

This counting dish can contain a maximum of 10 ml suspension. The grid is 7.5mm x 3.5mm in size and fits under a dissecting microscope. The total diameter of the dish is 6.3 cm.

The slope of the sides of the dish enables a maximum view of the contents. The grid is part of the lower bottom side of the dish. The suspension side of the dish can easily be cleaned.

The bottom of the dish is about 1.5 mm higher than the lower edges of the dish (the perimeter) which helps to avoid the dish sticking on a wet table.
