Razor Blades

The Razor Blades are available either with a Single Cutting edge, or a Double Cutting edge. Furthermore, they are both available in either Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel.

Catalogue Number E128CD-X is packaged 10 blades per box, and the others are 100 blades per box.

Single Edge Razor Blades

The single edge razor blades are the thicker of the two styles, with a thickness of 0.2286mm (0.009″), and are typically more durable than the double edged blades due to this fact. However, they generally are also not as sharp as the thinner double edge blades.

Double Edge Razor Blades

The double edge razor blades are 0.1mm (0.0039″) thick and have an acute cutting angle. As mentioned above, these blades are typically sharper than the single edge blades, but not quite as durable.

Stainless Steel vs Carbon Steel

Stainless steel blades are highly corrosion-resistant and may be used over a longer period.

Carbon steel is harder and holds its edge better.
