Australian Entomological Supplies has been supplying scientists, educators and enthusiasts with quality entomological equipment and books for over 50 years.
It was established in 1962 by noted Australian scientist Max Moulds and, in 1972, it was taken on by Alan Frazer, who ran it from the family basement in Yowie Bay, NSW.
Eventually, AES moved to the Northern Rivers region and two of Alan's children came on as full-time employees: Wayne, as manufacturer, and James, as web developer. Over 46 years, Alan grew the business into one of the most respected and trusted suppliers of scientific equipment in the country. AES was his life and passion, and he was working almost to the day he passed away after a short illness in March 2018.
The business lives on—now run by Wayne Frazer and his wife Kimberly. Now spanning over half a century and four generations of Frazers, AES continues to proudly manufacture some of the finest entomological equipment available anywhere.
