E46K Small Aquascope Underwater Viewer
The E46K small Aquascope underwater viewer is a great way of viewing the underwater world from the safety and comfort of a boat or dry land. It
works by eliminating both water surface glare and internal reflection, thereby allowing underwater viewing as far as water clarity and light will permit.
It can also be used for checking pots and boat moorings, observing reefs, conducting survey work and viewing secchi disks. It is also a great educational tool giving children and adults alike a glimpse into the fascinating plants, creatures and habitats that lie beneath the surface of our seas, lakes and rivers.
Specifications: 410mm x 170mm x 200mm.
E46L Secchi Disk – To measure turbidity of water
A Secchi disk is an 8-inch (20 cm) disk with alternating black and white quadrants. It is lowered into the water of a lake until it can no longer be seen by the observer. This depth of disappearance, called the Secchi depth, is a measure of the transparency of the water.
This simple-to-use Secchi disk (E46L) allows quick determination of turbidity or degree of underwater visibility in natural water supplies. It consists of a braided, stretch-resistant line and a weighted 20cm diameter black and white disc that sinks parallel to the waters surface.
E46TURB 60.5cm Turbidity Tube – To measure turbidity of water
Comes in two parts. Measure markings NTUs (Range 10 to 400). Used to measure turbidity in streams where a Secchi disk cannot be used. Clear Polycarbonate tube has a 2.5cm diameter. Logo design on the bottom for visual.
